1
Create your account
Go to app.mentioned.com.au and sign up with your email address and a password. To sign in without a password, choose the magic link option instead. Mentioned then emails you a sign-in link. Check your inbox for the confirmation email and select the verification link to activate your account.
2
Tell Mentioned about your brand
The onboarding wizard asks for your website domain, a workspace name and the location your brand serves. Mentioned analyses your website to understand your brand, your category and the questions your customers ask. That analysis fills in the next two steps for you.
3
Choose your competitors
Mentioned suggests competitors from your website analysis. Select at least three. Mentioned shows these brands beside yours in every report, even when an answer does not name them. See Choosing competitors to build a meaningful list.Your Competitive Ranking measures every brand visible in your category, not only the brands you select here.
4
Pick your tracked prompts
Tracked prompts are the questions that Mentioned puts to the AI engines for you. Mentioned fills in suggestions from your website analysis, and you adjust the list. Your plan sets how many prompts one project can track.Choose prompts that match what your real customers ask. Representative prompts give you useful results.
5
Your first scan runs automatically
Mentioned runs your first scan as soon as onboarding is complete. It sends every tracked prompt to all four AI engines. It then analyses each answer for brand mentions, rank, sentiment and cited sources. A progress screen shows the time remaining, and most first scans finish within a few minutes.
6
Read your results
Open Analytics to review your results. The Visibility view leads with your Brand Health Score and its supporting metrics, each one broken down so you can see what drives the result. See The dashboard for a full walkthrough.
Your first scan sets your baseline. Mentioned compares every later scan against it. Many brands have limited visibility in AI answers today. A low first result is normal, and it is what Mentioned helps you change.
